BIDUA Gram is in early access: a staging server is running; it is not yet released for production use. Ask for a walkthrough
Features

Five things, done well.

Everything below runs today on our staging system. Where something is still in progress, the page says so.

1 · Mail

Mail that follows the standards.

BIDUA Gram has its own mail engine that speaks SMTP for delivery, IMAP for apps such as Thunderbird, and JMAP for the webmail. Outgoing mail is signed with DKIM, and incoming mail is checked with SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

  • Several accounts in one webmail, strictly separated
  • Reply, reply all and threads that keep their place
  • Attachments stored safely and returned byte for byte
2 · Calendar

Invitations you can say no to.

An invitation waits for your answer: it is not added to your calendar until you accept. If someone you do not want to hear from keeps inviting you, one button blocks them. Colleagues can see when you are busy, times only, and you can turn that off.

  • Accept, maybe or decline in one click
  • Block an organiser; later invitations are dropped quietly
  • A privacy dialog for your free/busy visibility

3 · Contacts and 4 · Files

Share only what you mean to.

Address books and folders can be shared inside your company. The person you share with sees them after they accept, can be given view-only or edit rights, and loses access immediately when you remove them, even if the page is open.

  • View-only or can-edit, changeable at any time
  • Removing a share ends access at once
  • Shared items are listed under who shared them

5 · Control

The owner's side.

Owner portal

Sign in with two-step verification, approve your domain, invite colleagues and create their mailboxes.

Backups and restore

Online backups without stopping mail. If the data is lost, a restore brings back the last backup with the same file owners and permissions.

Upgrades with a safety net

A new release is installed next to the old one. If the new engine does not start, the old release is switched back automatically.

Apps

On your desktop, too.

Desktop apps for macOS, Windows and Linux open your company's BIDUA Gram in its own window, with its own profile, notifications and a saved server address.

Early access: the current desktop apps are test builds. They are not yet signed with a publisher certificate, so macOS and Windows will show a warning when you open them. A signed release comes first.
